Screen printing in colour – a perfect combination of painting + printing.
Join Donna Gordge of StitchPaintBurn studio for the afternoon of learning and colour.
Polychromatic screen printing is a method of screen printing which incorporates many colours at once, to print a single unique artwork. Using reactive dyes, we paint directly onto the screen, which is a bit like working with watercolours and is a perfect combination of both painting and printing.
This workshop may involve getting messy! Please be prepared and wear clothing that is suitable for mess making/staining as we will be using dyes. Bringing along an apron might be a good choice too!
What’s included:
Friendly, expert tuition and all materials, including 100% cotton fabric, dyes and screens to use.
Morning tea consisting of a selection of tea and plunger coffee plus light refreshments.
Location + COVID Safe Protocols
This workshop will take place in our sunny ground floor Blanket Room Foyer at Fabrik, look out for directional signage on the day.
