Afternoon tea provided.Join us @fabrik.arts to hear Colleen share the story behind our latest exhibition 100 Treasured Textiles, sourced from her private collection.Colleen started collecting textiles from Indonesia in 1972 after seeing a neighbour’s box of weavings from Bali. This began a journey of learning about Indonesian culture (particularly from Bali and Java), including the study of Batik and the relationship between traditional weaving and dyeing techniques.
