When: Saturday 01 February 2025, 1.00pm – 3.30pm
Join textile Artist Anne Griffiths who will introduce you to wet wool felting, its history and applications.
You will create 3D vessels reminiscent of birds nests with merino wool. The skills taught will set you up to continue your felting journey at home.
- Suitable for participants at any skill level, 16 years and older.
- We provide the basic materials but please bring along a towel, collected feathers, dried leaves or twigs that can be added to your vessel.
- Cancellations after 9am Friday 24 January are non-refundable.
About the facilitator
Anne Griffiths is an artist and educator working in textiles and watercolours. Her work is reflective of nature and its cyclic processes. Anne creates felted vessels, nests and cocoons using wool felting and adding found objects that connect with the environment.
