In this masterclass Phyllis Williams shares the techniques used to create her unique, intricate and awe inspiring handknitted art pieces.
Textile artist Phyllis Williams handknitted art pieces are indeed breathtaking. Her technical ability for complex motif design, eye for colour and commitment to create such robustly patterned and richly detailed garments, all handknitted in 2ply pure wool transcends all expectations.

Please note – This class is aimed at participants who are competent knitters familiar with working with circular needles.
Phyllis will be providing written material to take away for future reference as well as dyes and wool for each participant to sample dye.
Please bring along circular needles and wool scraps to suit needle size.
Fabrik will provide tea, coffee and simple refreshments available for participants to access throughout the workshop. A thirty minute lunch break is scheduled during the workshop, participants are encouraged to either bring along or visit one of the local businesses to purchase their lunch on the day.
This workshop will take place in the Blanket Room Foyer space at Fabrik. Look out for directional signage on the day.
