Volunteering
When Fabrik reopens in early 2024, we look forward to welcoming our visitors warmly, sharing the new spaces, the stories and experiences on offer.
Re-opening the doors at Fabrik takes a village of sorts. We’ll be working alongside a growing team of fabulous Fabrik volunteers to bring it all to fruition.
While the buildings are closed and undergoing redevelopment we are busy planning for volunteer recruitment on a large scale, to expand our existing team of amazing and dedicated volunteers. We are scoping volunteer roles in arts and heritage environments, tailoring and refining the roles to reflect Fabrik . We are also investigating enriching training experiences and induction processes so that we can offer best-practice volunteering and future visitor experiences.
At this point, volunteer roles include:
- Craft Group Host
- Gallery Guides
- Retail Gallery Attendants
- Museum Guides
- Event Support Crew
- Exhibition Install Support
Later in 2023, we’ll be hosting information sessions about Volunteering at Fabrik, with details of each role and the associated induction process. We’ll be sharing the invitation for these information sessions via social media and via our emailing list.
